Jungle Trekking & Elephants, Thailand

It’s hard to write about Thailand. Even if this post will be about jungle tracking and elephants… It’s hard to think about Thailand because we are already so excited after our first day in Myanmar. The country where men were skirts, people drive cars on right side of street like in Europe with steering wheel on right like in England, country where we make photos with local people, but on their cameras and where there is 30cm of water on the streets after rain. Simply we feel very good here after one day. But about it later. Now if you interested about jungle, rafting and elephants click read more.

Sightseeing Bangkok, Thailand

We are writing a bit backwards so it will be a bit more brief. We still had two days in Bangkok waiting for visa to Myanmar. So we did the casual tourist stuff like Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew known as also temple of Emerald Buddha. Which is of course amazing and beautiful. But four budget a bit more expensive. We were there exactly the day they changed clothes on Emerald Buddha...

Floating Market, Amphawa, Thailand

There is couple of floating markets around Bangkok. We choose Amphawa which should be less touristic. There are two ways how to go there. 1st: air conditioned van and be there in about 80 minutes or 2nd: you can take Boat, SkyTrain, than Train from tiny hidden station, than cross a market to harbor, find a ferry across river, find another train station than shared taxi pickup and one more boat. It takes all day... Which one we used? click “Read more”

Bangkok, Thailand

After 11h in the plane + 3h in the buses...
Before flight we checked some info about “war” starting in Thailand, for a while we think about to buy ticket to Malaysia and fly directly after arrival to Bangkok. But… We didn’t. Only stupid thing is that thanks to recommendations of our Foreign Affairs ministries “Do not travel to Thailand” our insurance is probably not working.. Click “read more”

Sandefjord, Norway

Our first steps went from Wroclaw to Oslo, actually not exactly Oslo but a small airport Sabdefjord-Torp. Train from airport to Oslo was more expensive than plane-ticket from Wroclaw. Luckily we found a couchsurfing host in near airport. Click read more to see the story...
