Milford Sounds, New Zealand

Probably the most photographed place in all New Zealand. Place known for awesome trekking and boat cruises on the fjord. For us it was the unforgettable hitchhiking when we spent with one crazy driver two days, we couldn't make much trekking but we took the boat cruise so we have some nice photos..

Invercargill, New Zealand

The southern-most town in NZ and almost in world (there is some town in Chile which is even more south). There is not much to see here. For tourist it's just a stopover on the way to Steward Island but stayed here five days and the main attraction here was the local hospital.

Queenstown and Charlie's cabin, New Zealand

Tourist central of South Island. Queenstown is like Wanaka but bigger and much more alive. We stayed two nights in friends caravan. Queenstown is known as a base for adrenalin lovers. Plenty of bungee jumping, jet boats, helicopter flights. It's also place for nice pubs, restaurants and clubbing. But what to do here with empty pockets... And Charlie, our Chinese driver took us to his farm, far in the south-west in the middle of nowhere.

Rob Roy Glacier, New Zaeland

Our next destination is Aspiring National Park, we plan to make some 3-4 days tracking here. It's about 50km from Wanaka and half of the way is on dirt unsealed road. But its quite tourist destination so hitchhiking shouldn't be a problem.

Gillespie Pass, New Zealand

It's a nice 3 to 4 day tramping track and for us it became our hardest one. With all detours we walked some 80km In the end of the track we found out how easy it could be to die just few hundred meters from civilization, just on the other side of river...

Wanaka, New Zealand

One of the most beautiful town or maybe just villages in NZ. We were here twice. Before and after our fatal Gillespie Pass Circuit Trek. (our biggest adventure which changed our stay in NZ a lot) But about it later. Now the quiet a peaceful Wanaka. First time we arrived here in a DHL truck. Sitting just on the parcels.

Brewster Hut, New Zealand

This was a situation Michal was dreaming for long time before. To get stocked in mountain shelter. We were simply trapped for two days in a mountain hut where the scenery and views changed every hour. Sometime just white emptiness, sometimes hundreds of waterfalls and glacier.

Franz Josef and Fox Glacier, New Zealand

Two of the biggest NZ glaciers. They also disappearing same like the most of glaciers on the earth but they are still pretty impressive. Starting near the peaks of the Alps and ending near the sea level on the bottom of the valleys.
